Child Support Accountability

This is the first post in my ongoing series of complaints, vents, and rambles about the Domestic Relations, specifically child support. Stay tuned for more.
So where is the accountability? I mean WTF? Seriously, why are persons receiving child support payments NOT required to furnish proof and documentation of how the support money is spent? Yes, I agree it would be a major hassle for the person receiving the support, but tough shit, life isn’t always easy and convienent. Guess what, you abuse you lose. Their are people out there spending support money on ciggarettes, alcohol, drugs…..money that should be spent on the child(ren). Persons that abuse the system, shoud be help accountable, and pay the consequences. I almost feel like running for office, maybe the House of Reps or the Senate soley on the ticket of the Family Law reform. Of course I would lose, but at least I can say I tried; mabye it would bring attention to this subject that NOBODY seems to want to tackle. What do you think?
