Once agreement is made, papers are signed by judge, etc., how long does it actually take for the divorce to be FINAL and receive the paperwork? Does it vary by county? What office can I contact to find out?
A: If all the paperwork is filed properly with the prothonotary (Court of Common Pleas), it should take about 20 days from date of filing the final docs.
